On September 8 (Mon.), 2025, the “19th Governing Council Meeting (GCM)” of the Asian River Restoration Network (ARRN) was held in Australia Brisbane.
Prior to the 19th ARRN Governing Council Meeting, a signing ceremony for a collaboration agreement was held between ARRN and the International RiverFoundation.
At the ARRN Governing Council Meeting that followed, participants shared information about the activities of ARRN and each domestic network since last year's ARRN GCM, and discussed the activity plan for the coming year, including preparations for the establishment of the Asian RiverPrize, strategies for expanding ARRN membership, preparations for discussions with ADB to promote collaborative projects among ARRN members, and the location of the next ARRN meeting.
