On Octover 23 (Wed.), 2019, the “14th Governing Council Meeting” of the Asian River Restoration Network (ARRN) was held in Brisbane, Australia.
Following Dr. Nobuyuki Tsuchiya (ARRN Secretary General)’s greetings, each National RRN’s 2018-2019 activities in Korea, China and Japan were reported.

In the discussion and decision chaired by Prof. Xiaogang Wang (new ARRN Chairperson), ARRN’s future activities in 2020 and further expansion of the ARRN members were discussed based on the ARRN charter.
In this meeting, new ARRN chairperson and new ARRN secretary general was elected and appointed respectively. The transfer ceremony of the ARRN secretariat from JRRN(Japan) to CRRN(China) was also performed successively.
