On November 16 (Tue.), 2021, the “15th Governing Council Meeting” of the Asian River Restoration Network (ARRN) was held in online.
Regarding the ARRN organizational structure, resolutions were passed to change the organizational structure to promote greater participation from Asian countries and regions, and to amend the ARRN charter to extend the terms of office of the Chairperson and Secretariat from the current two years to three years.
Based on the changes to the ARRN charter, the ARRN Chairperson and Secretariat will be held by Prof. Xiaogang Wang (Vice President of IWHR) and the CRRN Secretariat for another year.
