The Asian River Restoration Network was established in Nov. 2006 to support the exchange of information relating to environmental restoration of rivers and watersheds. JRRN has a role of ARRN secretariat currently.

1st JRRN Mini-Seminar on River Environment: Environmental Flows (July 18, 2008: Tokyo)

On July 18, 2008, the 1st JRRN Mini-Seminar on River Environment: Environmental Flows - Towards maintaining normal function of flows - was held. Participants were first given a lecture on means to control flows in normal state and the latest concept of environmental flows in foreign countries, and then exchanged opinions in the discussion held later.
